Cooking, Creativity, and Community in Italy

What’s the best part of growing your own food? Eating it, of course!

The Food for Good Club took our adventure to the next level this September with Chapter 2: Prepare. From September 5th to 13th, 2024, we gathered in beautiful Mondovì, Italy, to turn fresh garden vibes into mouth watering dishes that are healthy for us and kind to the planet.

From Garden to Plate

This chapter was all about making magic in the kitchen—budget-friendly, healthy, and ridiculously tasty magic. With Chef Enrico leading the way, we learned how to whip up meals that nourish your body and respect the environment. His motto? Cooking is love—love for the people eating it and for the planet we live on.

Imagine this: slicing fresh zucchinis from the garden, sizzling up hearty veggie-packed dishes, and sharing them with new friends from across Europe. Yup, that was our week in a nutshell.

More Than Just Cooking

We didn’t just cook; we created. Here’s a taste of what everyone was up to:

Photo & Video Team 📸🎥

This crew was everywhere, catching all the action—from chopping veggies to plating Insta-worthy meals. They nailed it, even with the ever-changing Italian light and the small chaotic kitchen.

Social Media Squad 📲

Our digital storytellers shared the best bits on socials, making sure our foodie adventure inspired everyone online. They also leveled up their skills in bothering everyone for tik tok.

Design Experts 🎨✍️

Armed with laptops, doodles, and big ideas, they worked on creating a stunning Prepare chapter for our cookbook. Recipes have never looked this good.

The Food Vibes

What did we cook? So. Many. Things.

Think hearty soups for cozy nights, quick and easy meals for busy days, and sweet treats made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Every dish was a mix of flavors, fun, and creativity. And the best part? Knowing that these recipes are not just good for us—they’re good for the planet too.

It’s More Than Food

This project is about more than learning to cook. It’s about connection—connecting with nature, with food, and with each other. Around shared tables, we swapped stories, laughed until our sides hurt, and imagined a world where food brings people together instead of pulling them apart.
